I'm moving to a new server, and I'm keeping all my images, files etc. How can I change the links on a mass scale in order to keep the images working?

For example, if the image on the old server was http://abc.com/image.jpg, how can I change it to http://xyz.com/image.jpg? Remember, it's on a mass scale, so I can't manually edit every single link.

I heard that one can do that with SSL, anyone cares to tell me how that'll work?

I can't code with <img src="image.jpg"> either... the image wouldn't show up unless I type in the full URL. Would this be a problem with CHMOD? If it is, could anyone tell me the permission needed? The images are currently CHMODed to 644.

Do you have the files saved on your computer? Because you can go to download.com and search for a text replacer (I have a mass text replacer). You select the files and/or folders (depending on the program you get), the text you want to find, and what you want to replace them with. Then, the program does it for you. You could try that.
