u c i need real help with this xanga... pls tell me u kno about xanga.. u c i can't get an image background into my xanga even tho i kno i can!! HOWEVER instead of my background showing, the color i chose in the beginning is showing and u can't delete it cuz it isn't in plain text.. so i just need help on u building it i'll give u the properties i want!

i want a fixed background..
no repeating

yes that is my own website.. xanga duzn't let u upload images but geocitied duz!! but i'm starting to wonder if geocities lets u direct link

ugh geocities duzn't allow direct linking!!!!! can u tell me a FREE site where they alow direct linking???

and ikno how to do no repeating that isn't a problem i just want to kno a site that alows direct linking

ranchoweb.com duzn't allow u to upload images that are 150k and over, i need a free site where i can just upload my image

it duzn't work!! tripod.lycos duzn't work! my only hope was starbrite but sum1 thought it was advertising and canceled out the link to the picture!!!

She was advertising, and please don't make mulitple posts...use the edit button.

many people do make this mistake...use hosters that allow you to link images, however do NOT direct link from a site without permission because it eats up bandwidth

were you suggesting boomspeed to be used as a place to host images, as in direct linking? forget about it. they've realised how badly the users have misused their services and disabled most accounts which abused their bandwith.

i was a victim, so i know.

as for the fixed background, you don't really need the html code. in the look & feel section scroll toward the bottom near the music thing, and there's lots of bg options
