oh ````, i was just sitting around listening to music and all of a sudden an ant runs across my keyboard... i freaked out but didnt think mch of it-- theres an ant problem in my bathroom i just figured one wandered into my room. and then another one runs across my keyboard. so im like w tf? so then i was looking around onmy floor, and keep in mind that i have very little lighting in my room and its late at night... so i saw a bunch on my mirror and by my trashcan... so im like oh crap!!! and then i moved some stuff around and was spraying them with a perfume cause that usually kills them when theres only a few of them.. so i was spraying then all of a sudden i move a piece of paper and there literally THOUSANDS of ants on my floor!! they were trying to build a nest! and i flipped out and screamed (well, who wouldnt there were THOUSANDS of ants in my room!!! and im obsessive compulsive!! im germophobic!!) so then my mother heard me scream so she called my cell to see if i was ok, and at theat moment i noticed them crawling in a line from my room to the bathroom (i guess the perfume scared them off) and im like "there are ants EVERYWHERE!" so i went out and got some bug spray and now theyre mostly dead except for a few stray ones but its soooo gross!! and i feel like theyre crawling on me, and theyres deadd ants all over my wall. its too late to clean tonight plus its too dark to see... but i feel so sick.. what could i have in my room to attract ants???? the last time i had ants was when i had my betta fish in my room and they thought he was yummy so they jumped into the tank to try and eat him (to their death) it was soo gross but this is worse!! now im gonna be so ```` about making sure theres NO trash in my room EVER!!!

ick :P im glad that i dont live in a place w/ cockroaches though, those things are much worse :lol: when i was a kid i was sleeping over at a babysitters house w/ a few other kids, and there were cockroaches and i saw one crawling on the screen :scared:

but i hope i killed the queen so then theyll all die. theyre all in my house cause its been raining and it never rains here theyre nest probably got flooded out. but its so gross!!

i keep itching i keep thinking its the ants. idoubt ill get any sleep tonight, ill think there are ants crawling all over me... im so crazy sometimes. but nnow that i know there are ants in my house i wont be able ot eat for fear that theyll get into my pizza box and get my food all germy and i wont be able to change clothes cause ill be afraid they got it all germy, ill take a million showers, ill be up all night knowing there are a few alive ill be afraid theyll get in my soap in the bathroom ill keep a flashlight near my bed and keep shining it every few minutes... *sigh* this is gonna suck. i get so stressed out over this type of thing.... i dunno why. im gonna go insane when i get an apartment and theres bug problems... eewww one just went by and i cant find it i wanna kill it but my mom took away the bug spray cause its toxic and it smells of fumes in here now...

step 2: cleaning up after the dead ants tommorow... ick :scared: surprisingly, as much as i hate ants, dead ones creep me out just as much. but at least i know they cant crawl over me when theyre dead.

lol the bug spray stuff worked but thanks for the hint :) and i know most all of them are dead and there are only one or two left but.. it just creeps me out so much :scared: and i would have my dad take care of it but hes out of town for weeks AGAIN and i dont want my parents gong through my room :P

When I lived at my dad's, my room was in the attic (on the 3rd floor) and I would always forget to take the trash down with me so it would overflow. Sometimes, I would get the giant black ants and I would just squish them and leave it at that. Then one day, I noticed that the ants I squished were gone... So I saw another ant, and I killed it and then kept my eye on it... Soon, another ant came along and picked up the dead ant and started carrying it away!! How sweet... They come back for their dead LOL!

i remember once these ants were after my fish.. they would go into his bowl and then die so the other ants would go to try and save it and theyd die. it was an ongoing cyle, and if i hadnt worried so much about my fish and what if he ate one, i would have sat there and watched tose idiot things march to their death :lol:

Ahh ants can't live with out them, can't live with them... well you could probably live without them but anyway, that's bad, I would have been freaked out :eek: like out of a horror movie

Well, when the queen of a colony dies, one of the worker ants magically transforms to take her place. Not to sound discouraging or anything. :P

I don't like ants in the house either...I mean I don't mind them crawling around everywhere but I hate them on me - any bug with pincers, even if they don't have a tendency to bite. Usually in the summer I'll be sitting at the computer at night and all of a sudden I'll feel something crawling along my arm and I'll know it's an ant. Not cool.

It's funny, I don't mind getting bitten by small lizards/snakes but for some reason when a tiny bug sinks their mouth parts into your flesh, it freaks me out. :P

Blehh... :( I now have that feeling where bugs are crawling all over me from just reading this. I guess I always get that feeling, I very much dislike bugs. (I once had a cockroach in my bed) It crawled on me and everything... I was terrified.

^^ ick, cockraoches are soo gross :scared: ive never had a bug in my bed cause i have a loft bed so its hearder for them to get there but once i had a spider in my bed but not while i was sleeping
