View Full Version : Women Question
jreis 01-03-2006, 07:51 PM My wife and I work so very hard, but when she comes home from work mostly everynight she claims to to tired  and don't want to do anything, but go to sleep or just lay around, is there something I can do to change this.... to make her life easyer we have been married for almost 10 year and we have 2 girl ages 6 and 7,
she seems to go to bed everynight around 7:00pm to 8:00pm:zzz: , and get up at 6:00am
I'm just a little different I go to bed at 2:00am after a long Internet game and get up 5:30am and get the kids ready for school and then I drive 1 1/2 hrs to get to work and back, and I do the same thing over and over, and I'm not tired at all, is it something to do with me or is she just getting old, she only 32 yrs old and I'm 36,
thanks for your reply
be right back
tomaten53 01-03-2006, 07:57 PM Hmm, if she is the one who cleans the house and makes dinner, you should try doing this, then she can get some extra time.. but I dunno
darkunknown2005 01-03-2006, 08:01 PM talk to her for like 20 minutes, eye to eye contact...i actually don't really no..I'm only 13 lol, but try to work it out with her, maybe cut some time out on work
Blakelyn 01-03-2006, 08:09 PM I dont know if this is a great topic for a children's forum, but I'm still willing to give my advice. (I'm 24) I'd say it sounds like your wife may either have Mono (which makes you tired all the time) or she may be depressed. Going to bed so early is unusual, especially for her to be so young. Does she have a very stressful job? Maybe she should go to the doctor if she's feeling tired a lot. Does she seem happy otherwise?
jreis 01-03-2006, 08:09 PM Ok I guess I forgot to say when she cooks, I clean and when I Cook she clean, so we are helping each other out in that area, and yes I also wash our cloths every weekend only on sundays, let me say this she works for a small nursing office, and I work for HP in Spring, ok let me say this to she spend most of her time staying in one spot and I send most of my time walking about 15 miles a day, for the support team and the network and telecom group.
don't get me wrong I love her very much, I just wanted to see if there is something else I can do make her feel better when she get home:)
Shirl 01-03-2006, 09:09 PM Hehe, i agree that this probably isnt a good topic for a kids forum either but I too will give you my advice from personal experience. Sometimes we just get really stressed (yeah i know im only 17 but i get stressed alot lol) and only want to rest for a while. Guys in general usually dont understand things like this. I dont know maybe its just me whose like that, lol. But yes, talk to her about it and see if you can work things out. :)

I've already done that and she just sad she get tried alot when she get home, and has to deal with the kids and stuff, I guess the kids stress her out, but that's kinda odd the kids sometimes go straight to the own computers and play on them all day after school, I guess i'll just have to deal with it. I talk to her everyday and we do things together everyday as well, I guess life will get better when the kids get older.... as i keep hearing it only get worse when they get older.... LOL

hehe, well it could be a number of things but if she says its the kids there must be something helpful you can do. :)
Lydia 01-04-2006, 12:54 PM (This is Allie) If she feels like she has a problem, encourage her to go to her primary care physician to make sure she doesn't have any health problems, and if she doesn't maybe she should talk to someone about depression, like vtangyl suggested.
