anyway, i have the er, text in the basiclinks.txt document for a table that will be the main page and then when you click on a link it will just reload the content in another cell- or is that not possible with ssi? rawh.

Hm... I think you might be headed in the direction of IFRAMES http://www.lissaexplains.com/frames.shtml#inline because you can't really target a page into a table cell :) . You can put the iframe code into your SSI if you want though :) .

but.. ergh.

i vowed NEVER to use them ever again...

do you think if once everything loaded on the main page the pictures and links on the side would load faster?
like.. once theyve loaded once theyre stuck in your temp until you get rid of them so while you're surfing that once they load faster.. or wont that work? ::slight pout::

Yeah, that does happen...once everything has loaded it wont take any time at all to load again when you go to the next page...is that even what you asked? lol
