I went into HMV to get a game for my Xbox as I had a money off thing, so I was looking at the games and I was looking for the new Spliter Cell one, but could not find it, so I looked around a bit more and then behind me there was a stand with Buy 1 get 1 Free, and I almosted missed it. So I got Cold War and Farcry Instincts.

I've heard of Farcry instincts and played the demo, but never heard of Cold War, so I'm play a bit of a gamble with it, as for all I know it could be crap.

When I got sims 2 I spent hours a day on it and then I left it and now it wont work, I got sims 2 uni as well which was good.

I think that games play hardly any big part in violence as well, I swear and all that when I'm playing a game if it annoys me but I dont think I've ever sworn in front of my younger sisters or brother, and I've sworn twice in front of my mum and step dad, once when I did not know my mum was in the car and I shouted the s word as I lost something and she heard and the other time was tell my step dad to f off. But I can control my temper quite well, and I'm not at all violent, infact I've been in 1 fight in my life and that was only about 2 months ago.

I've gone off topic so I'm going to leave it at that.

...i still dont think video games play a big part in violence...

I agree. I think parents use that as an excuse so they don't have to deal with the fact that they are crappy parents. If you raise your kids right, then they could play violent video games all day long and it won't effect them what so ever because they will know the difference between wrong and right, and reality and fantasy.

i think its stupid how people think that video games/tv have to do w/ violence etc. if a kids violent, oh well. im quite violent, but not because of video games or tv. its just my nature. i have it under control a lot, but sometimes i wanna kill people or myself, but that has nothing to do w/ media.

i think its just another way fir them to control us, by censoring everyhting. first, its ratings on tvs, censorship, etc. its all out to get us.
