i feel soo wierd when i write in my diary...its like im too old for it and no one does it anymore.

I do :P But I consider it to be more of a journal.. It's mainly reflections, songs/ poems, as well as some sketches. It's not just "dear diary, today I went on a field trip!!!" like when I was younger ;)

i keep a journal, but its mostly me writing once every few monthes sayong "life sucks ok whatever bye" so its kinda sad
i used to keep one but i got too lazy :P

I keep a journal, but I only write in it every two or three weeks now, whereas before, I wrote in it practically every day. I really ought to start writing in it more often.

I used to keep a hand written journal but I stopped my first year in college. Now I consider my blog my diary. I write anything in there that I would in a book.

Okay, this inspired me to pull out my first journal... This is an excerpt from an entry when I was in 3rd grade...

I officially announce, Chris is a stupid, idiodic, butt-brained, poothead!! He stinks, and I'll never like him again!

LOL! thats not as bad as some of my crazy obsessive entries in the 5th grade... omm, im not even gonna go down that road

I only write in my blog, and I only started that in December

I sometimes do... It was probably 1998 when I converted to online diaries altogether. When I was really little my little brothers stole my diaries (I had a lot, I loved those things) and wrote in them. There wasn't even anything very personal in there, but it still bugged me. The only "diaries" I have are a dream one (which I haven't updated in months because I'm too lazy to roll out of bed and write :lol: ) and one about my boyfriend. Well, it's more about me and my thoughts about my relationship.

I still have all of my old diaries (including my "spy" one where I used to write down stuff I discovered while sneaking around :lol: I was a crazy little girl), including an electronic one.

I haven't been writing in my journals for ages. I used to write in them everyday, but now I sort of stopped. :/

I used to write in a journal, but I quit, because my sister found it and brought it to my mom. Yeah, I got treated like crap during my high school years because of that, so no, I don't keep a diary because they're too easy to find. :rolleyes:

I keep a journal :) I write a couple of times a week. I actually use it more as a prayer journal, with my prayers to God written out. Basically, telling Him about what's been going on in my life, and asking Him to help me with various things :)

I don't get it, what's the difference between a diary and a journal? :confused: I used to have one, wrote in it in first grade. Psh, then I wrote in it in fifth grade. But I stopped... I think I wrote an entry just last month, but uh... it's pretty much about nothing.

i dont think hteres really much of a difference between a journal and a diary except that a diar sounds feminine

I semi-keep a journal/diary, If I'm lucky I write in it about once a month :P I'd like to keep it up more, but I always get distracted doing something else.
