this is probably the best anime ever, hundreds of characters and a great story....u can watch it at Cartoon Network, in english, or u can buy the anime japenese series on ebay around $50 for 160 episodes (with subtitles)

One of my daughters loves anime, but she never liked Naruto for some reason. Another question, why are anime dvds SO expensive? You can get any movie for $20 or less, but retailers want so much more money for anime. I don't get it :confusion

There are ways of getting dvd for cheaper, shame its not legal

if u think about it movies are 2 hours long, while Anime Dvd's have like 160 episdoes and each episode is 23 mins...that's like 4000 minutes or watching.

I can't stand Naruto, partly because some of my idiotic classmates think it's so cool to watch it during classtime on their laptops. (It's not.)

I read the manga in the shonen jump magazine, it seems okay. I would probably watch the anime too if I had the time. ;)

See now I heard the opposite. I watched it once but found the show really....obnoxious........really.....I'm sure it was better in Japan though, Cartoon Network changes a lot of stuff.

I honestly can't stand anime/manga (except studio ghibli's films...they're nice :)), but Naruto seems to be pretty popular right now. I know people who watch/read it, and it seems to spark a lot of fanart too o_O

My friends are obsessed. I've checked it out. And, bleh... I hate it.

I have never understood anime, I don't get the point. It is not funny and not exciting

^^^^ You can't judge all anime like that. There are different artists with different styles. My guess is you've only been influenced by the American Dubs, which are terrible. There are thousands of animes and every one is different and unique! Some suck, but others are really good!

I think manga books are really expensive....comeon $10 for a paperback book, only like 100 pages??? and u can read it in one day..

I don't like anime. I used to watch Pokemon (certain espidoes) couple years ago, then I don't like it anyone.

Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sailor Moon, CardCaptors, Gundam Wing and Inuyasha (And Digi-mon?) is/was my older sister watches over the years.

I finally like to get out of anime and head into Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes shows.

By the way... I never heard of Naruto before. Gonna check it out.
