I've heard people dropping their toothbrushes in the toilet, and I believe I dropped finger nail clippers once, but a cell phone? o.o
That's too bad about the buttons not working. And I'm afraid I'll make it worse if I try to help. ^^;
Whoa. Daja'vu (spelling?). I dreamed about this. That was weird. :lol:

can anyone help... pleese
although it is after the fact, one good idea is... whenever you get your phone wet, let it dry fully before attempting to turn it on. water on the wires will just fry the thing. having it dry out for a day will let is (possibly) work still well afterwards.
you may have 2 options...
1. take it to a dealer and have them fix it.
2. if your cellphone provider lets you do a hardware upgrade, perhaps you are long enough in your contract to do that.
or the obvious...
3. either stick with the current or payout for a new one.
i dropped my old phone into a swimming pool twice, and both times I took the battery and sim card out and put it in in the airing coubard<sp?> for about 3/4 days tried it and it worked. but what every you do dont put it in the sun it fades the screen.

Like everyone said, dry it out first. Do you have insurance on your phone? I have insurance so that if I drop it, run over it with my car, jump into the pool with it in my pocket ( :hehe: Chris ), lose it or whatever, they replace it for free.

I was going to get insurance for my but that would add £20 a month to the cost and I could not afford it, and 1 month after I got it I was round my mates in his boat in their pool and he tipped me out, and I tell you what I was really `````` off, but the phone still work after.
And on my new phone I have not get insurance as the cost would be loads more, but so far I've not broken it (No wait I have but that was not my fault and I sent it back to T Mobile and they sent me a new handset), I've only got 6 months left until my new phone and then I will get insureance.
