What are the best and worst things you remember about 2005?

one of the worst things i remember was the disaster in new orleans

one of the best things that i remember is getting all A's in my exams this year :D - something quite rare for me :D

best things/events: Michael Jackson aqquited, Martha Stewart released from prision

worst events: London bombings, Hurricane Katrina

Best things:
-January : 100cm of snow in a week, no school for a month
-February :
-March : My birthday, Joined LEIA
-April : Badminton started ;)
-May :
-June : exempted from exams, and end of school
-July : Started really posting on LEIA
-August : Started my forum software
-September : Back to school, lots of fun in school xD
-November :
-December : Christmas :)

Worst events: Hurricanes, bombings

Worst things:

The hurricanes, the bombings, my dog escaping out of the backyard, getting his leg injured, and having to have surgery, my dog destroying parts of my garage, and my getting braces.

Best things:

My brother being picked as the M.C. for my Chinese school's end of the year program, my learning HTML/CSS, my joining this forum, my uncle's wedding in L.A., my grandparents from Seattle visiting for Thanksgiving, my learning PHP/SQL, my getting Photoshop for Christmas, and my uncle/aunt/cousins visiting for Christmas.

Best thing: Going to university and experiencing all kinds of new things, and meeting my boyfriend :) Edit: also winning TONS of awards at high school graduation :winner:
Worst: The hairstyle I had for prom :P

It's hard to think of something personal that's really horrible, because nothing really bad has happened to me this year.

Worst things - my teacher died, London bombings...

Best things - Joined LEIA :D , went to Austria & Hungary with my family and to Germany with my class :D , started my own homepage, made some new friends. :)

There were bad events in the world, but, not that I can recall in my life. I've had a great year, now that this thread makes me look back.

Things I can remember that are good:

-I built my own PC, sure it took a long time but I enjoyed it, now it's awesome.
-I got a job... going on 2 1/2 months now, putting some money into my bank account... lol.
-Got into every college I applied to, off to GVSU in 8 months :).
-Met my girlfriend at work, Jasmine, she's amazing. We've been going out for 1 1/2 months and we're going to Florida in less than a month for 9 days.
-Got section leader for marching band, 1st chairs for Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band...

Those are obviously the best of the best since they are the things I can remember, and obviously nothing too bad happened in my life that I can't recall...

The best thing is easy - being in a musical for the first time ever. Met the most amazing people, and I'm not exaggerating when I say some of the really changed my life.

The worst thing is either finding out my sweet little sister has Celiac disease, my beloved first bunny rabbit & champion Stewart dying or having one of the most loved teachers in my highschool drop dead. That was a shock for everyone...:(

Best thing: Going to the Grand Canyon and seeing the stars in the country on the way back. :D
Worst: Not sure... (but definetly all the horrible things that happened like the hurricanes and london bombings)

I seriously can't think of any best or worst things that happened. :dead:
