I use Lexmark and everytime I scan an image from a magazine I set the dpi to 1200. I save it as a .jpg in High Quality format. When I open it in PSP it opens in 5% so I zoom in 100% and you see a whole bunch of dots. It looks awful. The file also slows down the program.
I was wondering why everytime I scan an image it looks like that? How can I make it look HQ? I was thinking of downloading and using this program called PIX Resizer (http://www.vodahost.com/pix.htm) to resize the images I scan. (PSP slows down and sometimes freezes when I try to resize it). But will resizing it make it look better? W/out any dots? Please help
