Is there anything I can download anywhere to help me get DVD/Vid caps?

I'm not sure if this lets you get caps but I play all my DVD's with DivX Player. So you can look into that maybe. Good Luck :D

I use PowerDVD to make screen caps of DVDs and regular video files. You can download the trial at www.download.com, or buy it for $50.

what kind of cable do you need to hook up to your vcr and your computer to get caps of your videos?

I don't know if it's even possible to connect a VCR or DVD player to a computer without additional hardware. the easiest thing to do is use a DVD-ROM drive in the computer :)
