how do you take the shadow line off the right side and bottom of scrollbars and borders?

You use CSS (http://www.lissaexplains.com/css.shtml) to change the scrollbar colours.

Yup, just change the darkshadow-color to be the exact same colour as the track colour. There is also a lighter shadow-color that you can change to be the track colour if you don't want any shadow at all.
