do you write, i dont just mean fan fiction and things like that i mean really write a book.
i love writing and i recoken i got some good ideas it just takes ages to get it all out of my head and down onto paper/screen.
ive bin writing my current book for just over 3 years now.........its gone through so many different drafts, but i feel each one has been an improvement from the last.

i like to write fantasy adventure books. what about the rest of you.

oh and has anyone ever been published!

I only write when I have to for school. To be honest, I really have no time (well, I say I have no time. I really do, since I could be writing instead of being on here lol) but it's really never interested me that much.

I used to write childish short stories when I was younger - for fun - but they were never any good, so I just gave up.

I was published in a magazine here in NC once. No, twice, but in the same magazine and in two different years. Now I'm working on being published by a couple of nationwide if not international magazines.

I have a book too that I've been working on since 2002. It has two chapters left to go, and a lot of drafts too. I know how I want to finish it and everything, it's just that I'm having a hard time filling in this one point in the book with the right wording and events. My book is adventure. And the plot is...different. I have like three people who have read it, and each of them said it was great. (Of course, they're my friends so I'm having a hard time figuring out whether or not they're saying it out of obligation. :p)

Good luck on your book, maztrin. I know how hard and often frustrating it can be.

I wish there was an option for bloggin on there. That's the only time I write. Yes, to me blogging is a form of writing because it's a way to express yourself =)

Other than that, I only write when I have to, and even then sometimes I just don't do the assignment... I hate writing papers and things when it's a subject I could care less about.

I'd love to say that my blogging was a way of me writing, but for that to be true, I'd actually have to blog occasionally :P

I used to write a fair bit (I did NaNoWriMo for 3 years, completed it once), but I don't really have/make time for it any more. I want to try and make more time for journal/blog type writing though, just to get me doing that again.

Only when I have to. I am not creative, so I try not to write anything :P

I've written -- and heck, it's even on the Internet. But dang, now that I look back on it, some of the things I've written are pretty emo-sounding.

My Chinese essays were published in the Sing Tao Daily, a San Francisco newspaper. Does that count?

I hate to write. Everything I write tends to come out wrong

Writing is one of my favorite things to do =)

In English class, we have tests now and then, and my teacher almost always puts an open response question on the end. I love it because it's what saves me  I usually don't do too well on the multiple choice, but I'll always get bonus questions on my essay. Sometimes, unfortunately, he doesn't include an open response.. and I complain in class about it :PPP :hehe:

I finished one of my books a couple of weeks ago, lets see, I think it was about 253 pages, I can't remember. It was my 3 book, but I don't want to get them published because they are stupid.

Why do you think they're stupid? You should have someone in your family read them so they can tell you their opinion. It's awesome that you like to write at such a young age. You really need to enjoy it at least a little to get through college. 253 pages?? My husband's dissertation was fewer pages than that

I have written a few things, but it never turns out the way I want it to. Besides, my sister is the writer in the family.

I love to write, but only on my own, freely. I hate writing essays for school.

I've never actually completed any stories though, 'cause I have a hard time getting out what I want to say exactly right. I probably have about a dozen unfinished stories on my hard drive. :P

I have tried to write a story, but my ideas just dont seem as good on paper as they do in my head. I remember i wrote a pretend article for my pretend newspaper when i was about 7. I wrote about my favourite toy dog winning the lottery (Remember i was only about 7!) I still have it somewhere. And i drew a picture of my toy dog sitting in a whole load of notes (Money) Lol! I would love to be able to write as i am learning to draw Anime/Manga.
