I jst finished making my site. I am looking for a good way to get other people to be able to find it. Does anyone know of any good ways to advertise your website?

adding ur site 2 a search engine like google's always good :)

Another good way is to join a top site list that matches your kind of site. ^_~

cliques; but my advise is to only join the one you are really going for it. Like don't add tons of "i love html" cliques up, just pick one. And hate cliques aren't nice either in my opinion.... just put up what you love!

Toplists get allot of attention too yeah

furthermore you can sign gbooks, tagboards and commentboxes but be gentle and don't add "please visit mine" on every message, that's annoying and the change is bigger people won't visit you at all. Just say "your site is nice i really enjoyed my stay" and leave it with that. They might get curious and visit yours anyway :)

Signing other people's guestbooks and tagboards is also a nice way to get hits :) .
