I wanted to use a different font for a couple headers and wrote my text in Photoshop and saved it as a gif. But when I view it in Dreamweaver and preview it online, the font looks jaggedy. It's great in Photoshop but awful in the preview. Any idea how I can resolve this?
Thanks!

You can try saving it as a .jpeg instead. Those tend to have better results...

Unforunately, saving as a jpeg flattens the image and gives it a white background. I need it to be transparent.

If your using text with a transparent background, the text will look jagged because the text can't be antialiased(<--spelled wrong..) properly. I'm not sure if there's a way to make it better or not..
