I can't view your pictures, try hosting them here (http://www.imageshack.us/).

Okay, I have psp9 but it shouldn't be much different

COLORIZING - You would go under the "adjust" drop down menu, then to "hue and saturation", and then click colorize. All you need to do then is play around with it.

The glowing look you described is most likely just the contrast. Go to adjust, then to brightness and contrast, and then click brightness and contrast on the menu. Just play around with it.

To fade a picture, go to the "layers" drop down menu, and click "properties". One of the options is the opacity. The less opacity, the more faded it is. In the example you gave though, it looks to me like they used brushes to do that.

Hope this helped. x-)

This won't colorize it like on this (http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/640/luke27mv.th.jpg) picture.

I'm sure they duplicated the image and set it to Screen (this made it 'glow'). Then probably made a new layer and filled it with a brownish color and set it to Soft Light or something... They also used a texture and set it to Lighten, Overlay or Hard Light. :)

hi,

it worked fine so far. but now i want to colorize it in a brownish color.

i tried with (psp7) Colors > colorize > hue +sat

but i canīt find the right settings to make it look the way i want to.

You can add a new layer and fill it with this color #e8ccc8 then set it to Multiply. :)
