Do you guys think this is layout worthy? What should I change? Or should I totally scrap it? Please help.

I don't really like that grey text... You could change it to white or something brighter...maybe? ;)

the boxes aren't light enough.. i cant even see them unless i highlight the image.. i think if you lighten it it will be lovely to use. if i was you id center the whole thing and give the page a black background colour so it all blends nicely :)

I like the second one better as well, it's not so busy looking. However, I would add some sort of effect to the text so it doesn't look like it's just "there." Maybe a stroke, or drop-shadow, or something like that...

What do you mean by stroke? I'm using PSP X by the way :)

I'm not sure how you would do it in PSP but it's an outline around the text... like if you go to my website, and look at the header graphic, the black outline around the text is called a "stroke" effect.

Oh, sure. I dunno how it would look with the font I'm using. Any suggestion for a colour?

I dunno if it helps it any, but I tried the stroke thing with the yellow from the moon. http://moonflower.ws/blackbird3.gif I couldn't do much using that font.
