Hi

I have this really good friend...She uses freewebs.com, and the sitebuilder. She tried to add a dropdown menu like http://www.joes-world.vze.com/webcomics/webcomics.html <--- There, but ended up with this ---> www.freewebs.com/darra-dolls/omg```.htm (www.freewebs.com/darra-dolls/omg```)

She doesn't use the PC very much, and doesn't really understand forums and the like, but I can give you any links, details or anything.

Does anyone know why the links won't load?

Thanks for any help - xx

Oh and *ahem* for some weird reason if you click the omg``` link it doesn't work, you have to paste it into a new browser window o_0

Please help! lol!

This would be the correct code:

<FORM name=gotolocation1 action=URI method=post>
<P align=center><SELECT name=omg```menu1>
<OPTION value=http://www.freewebs.com/darra-dolls/omg```1.html selected>#1 - Empty Classroom</OPTION>

<OPTION value=http://www.freewebs.com/darra-dolls/omg```2.html>#2 - Other Plans</OPTION>

<OPTION value=http://www.freewebs.com/darra-dolls/omg```3.html>#3 - Never Fly Again</OPTION>

<OPTION value=http://www.freewebs.com/darra-dolls/omg```4.html>#4 - Lizzie's Sims</OPTION></SELECT> <INPUT onclick="location= document.gotolocation1.omg```menu1.opti ons [document.gotolocation1.omg```menu1.selectedIndex].value;" type=button value=Go>&nbsp;</P></FORM>

Um... I just copied your code exactly and it still is the same. I looked at it and her code was the same as that anyway though, as far as I can tell.

Do you think maybe freewebs just doesn't let you do that?

Thank you very much

Maybe, the code I posted definately works (and the one i copied from the site didn't)...save it to a notepad file on your computer and see for yourself.

When she was writing it, I saved the code she showed me into notepad and it WORKED. I then copied it directly onto the site page, where it DOESN'T work. It's really weird. I've got freewebs and the form works for me, but I use HTML, she is using sitebuilder (lets you use html in parts that you want to), so maybe that could be it.

Thanks again

freewebs has a time frame where you cannot use forms on their pages, unless you pay them. I think after 7 days from the date you made that freewebs account it will work without problems.

If freewebs does not allow the form to be used, you cannot use it.

perhaps start a new thread.
you should give specific details on what you have so far and what you want to do. examples if possible.
