Hello.

I hope someone can help me. I run a website on actor. The URL is http://www.david-strathairn.com/ (or the unmasked location: http://strathairn.freespaces.com/) Lately, however, I've gotten some e-mails from some viewers complaining that they can't see the website. I myself haven't had any problems viewing it, so I'm wondering what the problem could be? Has it something to do with my coding? The visitor's browser? Anyone know how I can fix the problem so all viewers can see my site?

ANY help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

it can be from a great number of things...

isp downtime (thier connection)
firewalls or security settings (thier computers)
host downtime (your site's host)

and yes, it might be browser compatability too. you will have to ask them what browser, what browser version, on PC or MAC. to see if it is a related problem.

Thanks. Is there any way to determine as is whether it will work on certain browser versions and not others? As well as with Firewall settings? I have no idea how to figure those out. Also, I've noticed a pattern that a lot of the people who can't view the site are in Europe or the U.K. Very strange. Anyone know why that could be??

just having feedback will help narrow down the browser type and version.

if the problems are coming from a certain area in the world, perhaps it is their ISP that is causing the problems.

firewall... if the visitor has one, they would know about it.
