Lets see how smart you net surfers are.
lets start off by this.
right click on a folder on your pc and click search it opens windows search companioin right.
I want to create a link that will open windows search companion. any one know how. This is the brain teaser for the day
from a website page? probably not possible considering you would be trying to access an operating system function bypassing all of the security measures built into it.
if it helps, i think you can go to My Computer... just make a link go to $:/ -- only works on windows so far as I know.

so you want to open windows search from your site?? why? well anyway at first you should findoout what the prog, or at least the command is for the search... then you should make a script that runs that program, but it probbly wont works because most virusscanners block that kind of stuff.
