I'v been wanting to put images to a backround in psp. kinda like this

http://blinkybonk.com/

Say for example i have this http://neuromancerwp.free.fr/Katie%20Holmes%2016%20-%201280.png

how would i take out the backround, and make that into a banner. Everytime i try the lasso. i always get a piece of the backround still part of it. how do i get ride of the backround completly and just have the body.?

kinda like this :

Well when you lasso it and you get part of the image that's ok. After you lasso it just cut and paste your image on your background you are using which should automatically have it's own layer now. Then use the eraser to remove the excess you don't want. I also use the magic wand then press delete some of the excess but only if it doesn't remove part of the image. That's why the eraser is my friend. =)

first copy the picture then open another the same size and have the backround transparent...then paste the image over it..then use the point to point tool and slowly go throught (make sure to zoom in for a better veiw) do maybe three inches then delete it and then keep goign it takes a while but its worth it at the end
