okay,i have paint.and i can make some layouts with it.but, its really hard to find good images, and when i do i have to cut them out which is VERY hard to do with paint.so,i found out about PNGS.they are like PSDS but you can use them in paint.will some1 please tell me how to use them??:)
PNGs are made with Macromedia fireworks, to use them in paint you can just open them in it, but if you want to make slices, I recommend getting a trial of macromedia fireworks.
your welcome, if you need anything else just look at my signiture (I meant add me on MSN)

Incorrect. PNGs are very unlike PSDs. PSDs allow you to edit the file layer by layer, while PNGs only allow you to edit the image as a whole. I would suggest PNG however for the best quality, not as good as BMPs, but takes much less space.

oh, you probly mean how they have a grey background? basicly, you make it transparent and then you can use it, save it on your cpu then open it in paint ;)
save it on your cpu
Don't you mean save it on your hard drive, because there is no way to save something on your CPU (central proccesing unit).
