Okay, here's the story.

I've got an animated gif saved on Photobucket which I want to save on my computer for other things.

How do I get it there without it losing its animation?

For some reason every time I say save as it just saves the first frame of animation, even though I've tried saving it in different folders, under different names, etc. It's definitely saving as a gif, but it's just losing its animation.

I've already tried clearing the internet cache twice for those of you who were going to suggest that, and it's still made no difference.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm sure it saves as an animation. Try to set it as wallpaper and you will see, it works! :)

I agree. The program you're opening it with is probably the problem. On my computer only graphics programs that understand animated gifs are Gimp and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. And the only one I can edit it with is Gimp with animation package installed.
