How Do I get ppl attention? How Do I get them to come to my blog and read and come back. I List my website at link exchange and gbooks! EVERYWHERE but I still don't have visitors.

Well, the most surefire way to get visitors is to give them a REASON to come back. That means content. A content-less site doesn't get many hits. I know that one from expirience...

Aside from that somewhat obvious explanation, the best way to get visitors to see your site is to get sister-sites or affiliates. That just means that you and the owner of another page like each others' so much that you consider them to be worth a pat on the back and a hard-to-miss button, banner, or badge link.

That's about all you can do. After that, you just wait for people to stumble in and enjoy themselves. And when looking for sister sites or affiliates, it's best to try to find people who offer similar things as you do. If you advertise a fru-fru page on something full of wrestling, or the other way around, nobody will want to see what it is.

I under stand what your saying but how do I get sister sites. I links posted on my home page of other blogs and a button where ppl can add to their home page!

A good way to get traffic to your site is to sign people's guestbooks/tagboards. But make the message count! Not just "hey nice site. Visit mine", but a message that tells them what you like, or what you don't like or comments. Then, once they come to your site, keep them coming back with good content!

if you want people to regularly read your blog, it has to be interesting. would you rather go to a site with blog entries that look like "hey ppl, i got up @ 11:00 this morning and had eggs and toast for brkfst, then I watched some tv. leave comments!" and no content, or one that has content and more interesting/meaningful blog entries?

Believe me, getting hits takes alot of time. I didn't even start having visitors until a year after my site was made. People look for good content and great designs when it comes to websites. Other good ideas are leaving comments in tagboards/guestbooks along with being active in forums (such as this one). Good luck getting hits :) .

just be patient. and when you sign people's guestbooks, just sound happy, and tell them about the good things about their site. and sound really nice! that will make people want to visit your site! also, update your website frequently, and exchange links with some other people! you'll be able to get a bunch of hits pretty soon!h

Pixalated Dreams has been up for a while, then the honor of the site lost ehr host, and got her own domain..she hosts many of her friend's sites...and she still needs to get PD started again...so you can join that when it's started up again.
