I have got Adobe ImageReady 7.0 but I want to know if you can make animations <sp?> with it, I have seen a box at the bottom right hand corner that says Amimations, Image Map and Slice. But I dont know how to do it, could someone help me.

Have you tried looking at the help file? Basically you make an image with different layers... each layer being the next frame in the animation.

What format would I need to save at as?

If you are trying to make an animation, then you need to save it as a .gif.
