I know how that feels! I had to recite an essay in Chinese for my Chinese school's end of the year ceremony, and I had trouble getting the tones exactly right (the word will have a different meaning depending on the tone). But I'm sure you'll do fine! :)

ohh, lueur?

i wouldn't say it's pronounced 'lore-roar'.. that seems more like l'horreur. but maybe canadian french is different.

but it's okay, i'm sure you'll be fine! just keep repeating it to yourself until your mouth gets used to it. and i'm sure no one will really notice, as long as you focus on making the rest of your speech really good.. and just stay confident, the rest will come naturally :)

I know what you mean. I took Conversational French, which was not my first choice, last year and it is more difficult than it looks. I remember doing a presentation on Cannes and thought it was pronounced just like "cans" in English.

ugh, I hate french, try to sound out the word, and then say little parts slowly, then try saying the whole word after you get it right.
