LCD's don't hurt your eyes. But currently I have to make do with this CRT. And well, it burns after about an hour. But that's only if I'm tired.

But I just stay on there if I have to finish stuff

On new years eve last I was on my computer from 4pm to 1am, and my eyes didn't hurt.

My eyes don't hurt when looking at the screen for a while... my back does, though, if I'm sitting for hours on end working tirelessly on a site ;) You know how it gets when you have inspiration...

I hate to admit it but ive been on a computer 12 hours straight :( and my eyes still didnt hurt.

I don't know...it changes. Depends on how much sleep I got the night before.

I now have an LCD and im tired and the back of my eyes arent exactly starting to hurt.. but they are like on their way to being on their way to being hurting.. yeh.. lol. normally i have no problem but the old screens at my school (we now have lovely big LCDs) used to be CRT and they killed after like 10minutes they were that bad, ouchies!

Never... Seriously! The only time my eyes hurt from the computer screen are: If I'm really sick, if I had something in my eye before hand so it was already irritated, or if I'm really tired. The last time my eyes really hurt was when I was really sick, and staring at any light hurt my eyes and head. I'll admit that I stayed on the computer for a while before giving up, though :D

The first thing that usually hurts from being on the computer so long is my leg, lol. I like to tuck one under the other, and it falls asleep. Occasionally my back begins to hurt, but that's usually from me just having a bad night's sleep. My body and the comptuer are in sync. :buckt:

I think the longest I've been on the computer was 16 hours. I got in trouble, but I got a lot done, lol. I think I was revamping one of my websites.

never, I got used to it, but even before that, it would usually take about 20 hours, seriously, because I'm on the computer like when I get home from school until 12, then I do my homework, I don't have sensitive eyes, I guess thats why.

My eyes never really hurt.

For me, about an hour and a half. Sometimes less, sometimes more. But I have bad eyes so...
X-Box hurts worse in a shorter amount of time.

i have an LCD mon...but it still hurrts my eyes...maybe i should try blinking...lol.

I never really have problems with my laptop or in computer labs (they all have LCD monitors), but e-mail kiosks? forget it. I can't stand using them at all becuase you're so close to the screen (some are worse than others, depending on the setup. most are in stand things that keep you a little bit away from the monitor, but others are really close to your face) and they're CRTs.

I think the only time it actually hurts is when I already have a headache or something, and staring at the computer screen makes it worse.

thats the worst thing when you have to write up an essay after a long hard day of studying and ur eyes just pick from tiredness and the screen!!! i hate it . like at the moment i am writing an report for geography (as well as wasting a bit of time hehe) and its sooooo boring which makes it even worse - im staring at the screen and thinking - i could be watching television right now lol. my eyes hurt a little bit but i take little breaks :)

Now, if you mention it, it is so true!

As for eyes, they usually don't hurt, unless I'm at computer without glasses (I need breaks from them sometimes, because they don't feel natural and comfortable). Also few times my computer has changed screen refresh rate to lower for mysterious reasons and then you know it about after half an hour because of your eyes. I then have to set it back to 75Hz.

As for back, it's not the healthiest (sp?) one so it controls my online activities sometimes.

Probably not but I have weird blood stream, sometimes I feel hot but my hands are cold :O

They don't hurt - I just get tired.
