This isn't a thread about if you like them or not...
If you DO like them, what's the best album in your opinion? I want to get one of their albums for a friend of mine for his birthday but they're not really my taste of music so I'm not sure which one to get.

Swiss Army Romance, no doubt. But Dashboard has gone through some crazy transitions, so his albums vary a lot. SAR is basically acoustic, The Places you have come to fear the most he has a band backing him, and A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar sounds more... mainstream, if you will. I happen to like old-school Dashboard, so my personal favorite would obviously be the first.

...A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar...
I "obtained" that album and I thought it was absolutely awful, and so did my friend! I'll try Swiss Army Romance. Thanks for the input! =)

you should go to
a review site, like
amazon.com or
interpunk.com, and
compare the "professional"
reviewing.
because people on here might have biased opinions or something.
anyways, yeah. i won't comment on dashboard.

^yes he's the lead singer
i've had a crush on Chris since i was like 10  eee, seeing him play live was lovely. *swoon*
The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most is my preferred album, though i'm not a very big dashboard fan.. but i just can't completely let go, since they were my favorite band in 6th grade :buckt:

That's how I am... There are so many groups that I liked as a child that aren't making music anymore and everyone hates *cough*NewKidsOnTheBlock*cough* but I'm not going to stop listening to them just because they aren't popular anymore =P
