OMG! Today I got this email froma girl who sent me a link to a Delta Goodrem site. When I come to the site I see what she has COPIED practically everything. The layout is MY layout. She just right clicked, saved images and then used them as her own. She's copied my code, my text, everythign! And in her disclaimer, which she copied from myself, it says:

Copyright © Wojoud 2005
All content, design and graphics are © to myself if not stated otherwise and all images are © to their respectful owners. Credit is given when credit is due.

Now [I know that's an abbreviation, but it's still considered swearing]? I DID 80% of the work on her site, I made that layout so it CANNOT be hers?!

This is FREAKIN me out cause I'm ``````. She is doing something illegal right. So is there ANYWHERE I can report her?!?!?! There must be a place. I tried to contact her host but there is no contact adress.

What can I do! Please help!V

Try Emailing her to ask her to take it off, if she does report her to her web host.

Thanks for the tip! :) I never thought about that!

Anyways, I get up two different names. Registrant Contact Information, Administrative Contact Information, Technical Contact Information.

So who should I contact about this? Basicly I want to tell them 1.To tell their hostee to now steal and take off the copyright protected content and design 2. to think twice if they want to have hostees that copy from others since the hostee is going to have a lot of trouble and it will surely affect the host.

So who should I contact *confused*

First off, did you copyright anything? Cause if you didn't, there is nothing you can do. Small question. If she emailed you, how can you not know her address?

Actually, once you publish something to the web, it belongs to you. Getting the papers and all just makes things more tight.

Errr ... you're totally lost arent you? First of all, I don't have to "copyright" it. It's my creations and material, meaning it is my copyright and it belongs to me, no one have to right to steal it and think they can get away with it. Second, I never said she emailed me, (duh, why would she, "Hey, look, I stole your stuff!!" very likely) Read my post again please. Third, there's always something you can do. You just need to have the guts to do it.

Indeed, that's right.
