Is there any possible way to avoid being logged by an X Tracker without having to pay money? A lot of people I know have these, and I refuse to go their sites because I feel like I am being watched by Big Brother. If there is a way, no matter how hard, could you tell me?

Most of the Xanga trackers use JavaScript. If you disable JavaScript when you visit Xanga, you should be okay, I suppose.

If you use IE 6... http://www.umanitoba.ca/acn/support/websites/Javascript/ie6.html

You could also use a different browser while visiting Xangas I guess. For example, instead of using IE you can use FireFox or Maxthon (They're great browsers and you can download them here: (http://getfirefox.com and http://maxthon.com)

Okay, one last question. How do you disable javascript for Firefox, 'cause that's what I use most often.

PoorCookie, it wouldn't matter what browser she uses. To disable JavaScript in Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Web Features.

I was saying she could use a different browser as an alternative if she didn't know how to (or was too lazy to) disable javascript. Because with a differnet browser you aren't logged in...which means you can't be tracked. Unless they memorized your IP.

report the page to xanga and they can ban that person. because it is against the terms to track who goes to your xanga
