Odds are if she's blocked LiveJournal, she's going to block whatever else you sign up with as well. But anyway, there are other websites that are like LiveJournal that you don't necessarily need a code for.

Have a look at www.TheDiary.org (http://www.thediary.org). They're still fairly small and as such are most likely not blocked. It's a very good blogging site as well.
