Well I don't really know what to think..
uh, hey she's actually pretty! I mean she never was bad looking but without her punk makeup is, weird! I wouldn't have immediately guessed it was her :P

Yeh i found a picture of her with blonde hair the other day and i was like "what? thats not avril????" To me she looks great with blonde hair, i hope her music doesnt change. It does seem quite far from her old style huh. =) good for her she looks great anyway

I agree - she sings pop music. I'm pretty sure I dont even like punk music and I like her.

She has a great voice, and I dont think changing her look is going to change how she sings. But even if it does, I think it will change for the better.

I like avril's new look. I don't care much for her music however. She's looks more classy, I think I like her more just because of her new look. Yes that is a shallow statement, but I think this whole "rock pop" get-up is kind of overwhelming. A more pleasing appearance really suits her well ^_^

I don't even think that there is a change. it isn't the first time that the dresses like this, and maybe there was a dressing code or something on that party :D

Ok...have yet to put my opinion of her....I actually cannot stand her or her music. Can't really explain why....just eh..no...maybe its her cookie cutter packaged (now old look) that encouraged millions of girls to follow her fashion blindly. And then, the music that really, I have just never cared for.

Yes, I'm picky about my music, and I have been known to enjoy music and bands before everyone in the country/world knew them. Its just sooo much more fun if you know them before everyone else. Easier getting into shows, and you can still meet the band and get to know them. Not to mention everything is cheaper (I'm poor).

But personally, if I love a band/singer, and then I see a bunch of mini-"put band/singer here" running around...it does the same thing when the radio plays a really good song, every 5 seconds. Burnout. The reason I dont listen to the radio.

In the most recent issue of Us Weekly, Avril is quoted as saying something along the lines of "My style has changedabit - I'm dressing classier now." It wasn't those words exactly, but the way she said it made it sound permanent.


And in Lindsays's defense, the first post in the thread says "No Longer Punk", so that's probably where the whole punk thing came from.
