i have been playing around with email forms, and i cant seem to get what i want....what i want it to do, is after the person fills out the form and clicks submit...another page will open saying "thank you...your e-mail ahs been sent" or whatever...so far ive only succedded it when you click submit...outlook express comes up

I believe you are using the old action mailto. Mailto is unreliable and doesnt work in some browsers. The only thing i can suggest is using a free provider like www.bravenet.com they provide a little script that goes in your form code and when the person clicks, it opens a page onto bravenet saying it has been sent with a link back to yourwebsite.
