on all graohics sites they recommended paintshop pro..but how much does it cost and is it worth its value?

caus at the mo i (try) using gimp but its really complicated and hard to use so is paintshop better?:)

I believe Paint Shop Pro is *definetely* worth the money...but I've never used Gimp, so I'm not sure how it compares ;)

Some people say Photoshop is better, but I haven't work with it as I'm broke now so I downloaded Jasc 9 and *cough*installedcoughcrackcough so it works great for me, heh heh :D

Though when I save up 20bucks I'll go get Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, or if I find proper coughcrackscough :)

i was very happy with paint shop pro the years i've used it.

i disagree with the fact that "photoshop is better". it just depends on what you learn with the program and how to use it. You can get the same results in both programs ..
