Alrighty. So this is what I want to do.... I'm looking to do an image map for a site I am working on and this is what I hope to do. I need to know if it is possible and also how I would go about it as I have very little experience with image maps.

So, the idea:

It will be a normal image map with all the link buttons along the time of the screen in a line. Then there will be a narrow rectangle along the left side of the screen where, when you click the links above (say OOC) than all the options (such as advertising, Chat etc.) will appear in the box. From there if you click on say Chat it will open in the iframe window.....

Is this possible?

are the box and the iframe two different "boxes" or are they the same?

They would be two different boxes. I think I figured out how to do it. Do I just use the iframes code but rename them iframe1 and iframe2?
