I love tupac, I guess a lot of you haven't heard of him, he died in 1996. I love all and any songs by him, my favorites are, Hail mary, All eyez on me, and No more pain, and letter to my unborn child. If you like rap music I recommend listening to him.

The first rap song to ever be publicly released was "Rapper's Delight" by The Sugar Hill Gang in 1979. Kurtis Blow was the first rapper to ever be signed to a contract with a major record label in 1980. There were MANY rappers before Tupac hit the scene... Tupac did not come into the picture until the late 80's, when he was in The Digital Underground... He didn't even start rapping as a solo artist until 1992.
