I'm not sure if this might be a problem but are the CSS codes properly "opened" (if you know what I mean). Great layout, by the way.

try adding this to the main DIV tag...
overflow:auto;

so it will be like...
<div dir="ltr" style="right:233px;position:absolute;bottom:130px;overflo w:auto;">

or that may have to be "styled" into the HTML tag itself and/or BODY tag.

JHGirl: I think you meant if the CSS is really able to work, well, it does. It applies well on my tables, links etc.

pb&j And, about the overflow:auto; code, urm, after I typed that in the body of the page, the scrollbar is gone. When I typed it in the DIV code, it stays the same, not being able to scroll. Thanks for suggesting though!

Your saying your scroll bar just uhh packed up and ran away?

are you trying to make a joke...?

but in any sense, yeah. you can almost say that it's completely gone, out of sight. i know that usually happens when the page doesn't need to scroll after using the body autoflow. and for some reason, my page was made to not being able to scroll although it should be scrolling.

and about the layout itself. maybe you can tell it from my code, but i'll just explain anyway. i'm trying to make it upside down. the more recent posts will be at the bottom, and as you click the folding menu, it'll go up instead of down. i think it has something to do with the div layer code (maybe i should be adding some other command), and that's the part i'm totally blank about.

guess what? it scrolled! i just changed the code in the div layer from bottom:1px to top:1px. then...... well. another problem aroused. the image wasn't supposed to move.. but it.. well.. just take a look for yourself.

Because of the setup of your page, your background image will scroll if the page scrolls. The only way to fix that would be adjust your coding, maybe make all your information inside a div? I don't know, you just need something so the entire page won't scroll.

Also, with the overflow:auto code, the scrollbar won't appear unless it has to. ;)

the thing is though, i positioned the image to be at the bottom right. it's a wonder why it moved up as i scrolled.

when you say keep all the information inside a div, meaning, using tables and just position it using one div layer code?..

hmm.. might work.

and the autoflow code: but it should be scrolling! oh well.
