I would like to make my own skin but do not know what i'm doing. I have no idea about css and would really like some help and advice.

If it is the free version of their forum The only way to change the skining is log into your Admin Control Panel and click on manage your custom css You might want to check out this

It will help you know what part of the Custom CSS to change to your needs
Also you may want to get a host that will allow you to hot link to images

Just Login into your Admin CP and look on the left side and Scroll down untill you see Skinning & Style then click on Manage Style sheet Just Use The link I posted in the last post should show you where you and how to edit Your CSS Sheet
