I'm going to try to make a website using a graphics program. How do I go about this? I usually use PSP9 but as my free trials ran out I'm going to use Adobe Photoshop Elements. I want to make it like www.dougie-poynter.com or http://www.fansitesuk.com/mcfly/ or http://haunted-heart.net/nicky/main.php I dont want to make it exactly the same, but just know how they got different effects. Did they make the layouts with a graphics program? how did they put it together? Thankyouu.

The pictures were made with a graphics program.
On the Nicky Byrne site the parts with the links over them and the text
look like they were made in a paint program too, and then set in the
in their spot on the site by the builder.
Then the frames on the site with all of the moving pictures, it looks like all of the frames were(or alot of them)made with a painting program and then positioned
too.

Yes, they did make the graphics with, well, a graphics program. They probably used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Paint Shop Pro 9. They all seem to be the 'in' programs. O__o;;

The first Dougie McFly fanlisting was used by blending pictures together and using different kinds of effects and brushes. They used the Greyscale effect on all of the blended images. They also added some slate blue tints with (I'm guessing.) brushes. Overall, he/she made a decent layout using nice brushes and other effects w/ images.

The second website used Animation Shop to put the little clips in the logo. It isn't as involved as the first. They used a few simple brushes and organization to make a decent layout.

The third? Well, again; they blended. And there are more brushes. Oh teh noes. They also decided to blend colors, most probably with black/white points.

Can anyone please tell me what code I'm suppose to use to prevent graphic theft? I don't want visitors to my My Space page taking my background or graphics. How is this done.
