okay, so here's my situation: i've got music playing in the background on my livejournal, but i'm worried that it's going to take too long to load for some people, or that it will get annoying, etc. i was wondering if anyone knew of a code that would allow me to put music in my lifejournal userinfo instead??

Probably not, as far as I know the HTML in userinfo is fairly limited.
You could just try the code though, either the one you're currently using or the one that's on this site. There's also a few help sites posted in a sticky at the top of this thread, you could look through them for any other info
