Just curious...

What has been your proudest moment as a web page designer?

I would say that mine was seeing my students' progress as I teach them, but I think that may be the proudest moment as a teacher :-P

For mine, I think I'll say when a professional web page designer reccomended me to a friend, saying my ideas were "fresh and innovated."

What about you all?

When the page actually worked :lolol:

I learned from a basic Kid HTML book, and LEIA was listed in the top ten sites to see, and I clearly remember reading, "The colors on this site are fantastic, good help and awesome navigation."

my proudest moment is when i won a "Site Of The Month" award. It was one of my earlier sites, so it wasnt very good, but i was still happy.

Hearing the compliments from the youth leaders at my church. (I designed the website for my baptist youth group.) The ones who had visited it all commented on how much they enjoyed it.

I have a friend who's really into elvish stuff - writing & speaking it. Of course, she loves LOTR. Well, since last year she's been telling me about this elvish cloak she's working on, and that she hasn't finished it yet.

She also has been wanting to pay me to make a web page for her elvish obsessions.

Well last night I just told her - "You know what, once you come in here wearing that elvish cloak, I'll make you a free one-page site."

She was so excited! She's like, "Oh my goodness!! Are you serious?!?"

I like being able to make people happy like that with my skills :D

I taught myself Flash, and eventually it paid off in the sense that I now have a fulltime job programming in Flash. I think that was probably my proudest moment.

When I get something to work that has taken a long time to figure out. Compliments are also nice.:)

My proudest moment was when I was in an Australian newspaper.. my hits went from about 15 per day to 100! :D That was with my verrry first layout.

To be honest, I think that's how I got here today, that really motivated the heck outta me :P
