I installed a pop-up stopper which was given 2 me in a email from a friend and I was wondering that because ive installed a pop-up stopper, will it stop the pop-ups that are used in websites? A pop-up came up (the address book) ,came up in msn hotmail, so i figured i either havent installed it or it doesnt stop those kind of pop-ups. will som1 answer my question?

yes. just in your website. not until your hotmail. if you install a popup blocker software, you can block almost every popup.
