Seems we can do lot of things when we know some Java or Script.
Of Course these Flash animations are attractive and greats.
But seems really not easy to learn?!
Is it possible to get 3D effect with font without Flash?
How long does it take to be able to work with Flash?
What would be your advise?
I just start to understand how can work some JAVA or script, and seems Flash is another world LOL.
My golas are to do some intros and transition image with text effext and so on and maybe some sounds or so.
Hum a general question a bit I know, but I am just wondering and try to figure out where I should go on to learn or not.
Thanks for any advise btw Flash and other codding.

Hi Michèle, and thanks for signing my guestbook, b.t.w.
I personally love Flash and think it's worth it, though I must admit that after 2.5 years with Flash I still am a beginner at actionscripting.
Some people find it easy to learn, others seem to find it impossible.
I found it easy.
If you have managed to learn other software, I think you'll be able to learn Flash, but why don't you try:
www.macromedia.com
You can download a 30 day trial version and see if you like it or not before you decide to buy.
Make sure you have plenty of time to play with it, because it does take time to learn.
Good luck!

Thanks Marianne,
Yes I was on your place few days ago and really enjoy the Cat theater ;O) And think I have to sign your guestbook today...
Well I use PSP for graphics, Golive for basic codding of my places, then sometimes I had some scripts (that I am able "sometimes" to modify), but these progs are really easy to use. I just realize I have into Golive a way to make codding for Flash and looks very similar to Macromedia screen but really this tool (like the screen of Macromedia, I have seen on some tuts) looks really hard for me LOL.
Maybe I should try to see more deeply how it works, but for yet this prog looks really hard for me... Maybe because its less WYSIWYG than my own progs I use.
But when I look to these intros:

http://www.pollypocket.com/home.asp
or the one of Disney:

I really dream to do such things, these one need also to be able to do nice draw who match your subject and not sure I can be really good for that!
Even these place are for kids I love to have a look to them they are really great, in fact I never really grow up LOL
Thanks again for your answer...
Michèle & Teddy.

Drawing in Flash is the easy part to learn, and the sites you showed us are mostly special because of all the nice drawings that are done.
The rest is mostly rollover effects.
They are not too advanced either.
So basically, if you really put your mind to it, you'll find that you can do something like that, and that the hardest bit is probably the drawing bit, because you need some creative skills for that too.
It does take a LOT of time though!
