hey all. i was experimenting with the opacity thingy the other day, and i got it working fine. however, when i put an image in the table this too becomes translucent :oS. is there a way to use the opacity code without making the content of the table transparent? thanks.

this is a total guess, but try this:

<img src="url..." allowtransparency="false">

like i said, "TOTAL GUESS!"

i like the image transparency :D

When you use the opacity code, everything will become translucent. I don't believe there's any way around that.

if i would suggest, just make it totally transparent, i put the same background on that frame, and then everything you dont want transparent wont be! :D

i like the translucent effect though, and i was about to base my whole website around it. is there any way of creating a translucent box that text and/or images could be layed on, and not be translucent?

you could cut out the part of the background that the table is covering, and with an image editing program change the opacity (it will be at 100- just lower that number), then set that image as the table's background.

well, on different computers, the bacjground image can become different sizes. so, that mite work.
