how do u make a template of a basic web page?
the basic web page banner with graphics on the top(site name etc.)
and the Navigation bar on the left of the page that holds the menu
can someone plz help me

there are many different ways to make a layout or template.
tables
divs
css
frames
iframes
and so forth and so on.

have a look through lissa's tutorials about coding and learn about the different things. then go with what feels best to you.
