WHY is there a 30 sec. rule on posting?

Because otherwise you get speedposters who post only to increase their postcount. Its harder for them now.

There WAS actually a 60-second rule :) I lowered it because of suggestions from some of the forum members. I think that 30 seconds is alright, if you're making a post that's thought out to some degree. :D

yeah, 30 seconds is fine for me. The only time I get it now is when I try to reply to several introduction posts in a row.

I think 30 seconds is just right...it takes longer than that for a page to load on my computer...usually. Not always.

Plus it means if any mean people come here with the intention of flooding the place they can't/it takes them waaaaaaay longer :)
