Ok since a couple of days ago the writing on webpages that don't use a separate stylesheet has gone all big and horrible. When I visit google and other sites the writing is 12pt and stuff, it looks really big compared to normal.

I don't know why this has suddenly happened :/ Can anyone help? I'm using AOL and I haven't messed with anything...

View > Text Size > then check what's your size.

you might not have changed it, but someone or something else might have.
what is it currently set at? have you tried to adjust it already back to "normal" using that method?

what about screen size .. 800x600 - 1024x768 etc., if you made it bigger that may be it

My screen resolution is 1024x768 and always has been and the font size thing is set to medium like usual... :/

Then maybe try setting the text size to Smaller or Smallest?
