Please help. I just got a new camera that can take .avi files with sound. I'd like to put some of those on my blog but I have no idea where to begin. Does anyone know where I could upload these to so that I could link them somehow to my blogspace? And then what is the code to display it?

first check if you host supports .avi files. If so then i would just upload them to there

i searched the net, and my guess is to just link them so that when people click on the .avi link Windows Media Player automatically begins to start so that the visitor can view the file on their own computer

i know some sit'es play videos etc, i just can't find how to do it though. The option above is the only one i can think of myself i'm sorry

Thank you mirna. I'll ask my host if there is a way for me to upload those files, but I doubt it. I use a diary service (which I pay for) and am now wondering if I would have been better with my own domain.

If anyone else knows of somewhere that will host my .AVI files would you please post or let me know?

I spoke to my host and unfortunately they do not support .AVI files. I've done tons of searching on the net, and can't find anything on the subject.
