Sorry :( Monkey Bizzle 09-01-2005, 06:36 PM There actually are programs that you can use to recover lost data. My friend was telling me about them. I will ask him what program he uses and then I'll post here again... unless someone else beats me to it =) lanahawke 09-01-2005, 06:53 PM you delete, the system over writes.... Sphere 09-01-2005, 06:58 PM Programs for data recovery: Easy Recovery (http://www.ontrack.com/) File Scavenger (http://www.quetek.com/) GetDataBack (http://www.runtime.org/) Those aren't for free, for freeware tools look for: Testdisk, FindNTFS and Restoration I got good experiences with GetDataBack Monkey Bizzle 09-01-2005, 07:16 PM GetDataBack Yes! That's the one I was trying to think of. According to this site (http://www.runtime.org/gdb.htm), you can download it for free. Make sure you know which file system you have though (NTFS, or FAT) Choccieholic 09-01-2005, 08:10 PM How do I know which system I have? anyway of finding out? According to this site (http://www.runtime.org/gdb.htm), you can download it for free. Make sure you know which file system you have though (NTFS, or FAT) as far as i know you still can't copy files. I didn't knew that, was scanning my pc (took about a hour) and then i was trying to copy the files and it said i had to register :/ |
